About the group

Compass Group is a diversified holding company operating across the GCC. Ten specialist companies cover a project from A to Z — surveying, civil works, waterproofing, fit-out, furniture, facility management, logistics, technology and media.

Why the group exists

A building passes through a long chain of hands. Someone surveys the plot. Someone grades and paves it. Someone seals the structure against a climate that punishes anything less. Someone fits the inside out, furnishes it, wires it, and then keeps it running for the next twenty years.

Normally those are ten different procurements, ten contracts, and ten companies blaming each other at the handover. Compass Group exists because that chain works better when the links already know each other.

We are not a services conglomerate that happens to own unrelated businesses. Nearly every company here attaches to a physical place, and the two that do not — technology and media — serve the ones that do.

How it is run

Operating companies, not divisions
Each company owns its brand, its standards and its client relationships. The group does not flatten them into one voice.
One route in
A client with a multi-company brief gets one conversation at group level rather than a procurement per trade.
Shared standards
A common brand system, a common approach to safety and documentation, and shared back-office where it helps.
Independent delivery
Work is delivered by the company that is accountable for it. The group does not sit between a client and the team doing the job.

What we hold to

Each company states its own principles. These are the five that recur across all of them.

  1. 01

    Integrity

We hold to the standard whether or not anyone is watching, and we say what is true about timelines and cost.

  2. 02

    Reliability

Scheduled, predictable, and there in an emergency. Consistent performance, project after project.

  3. 03

    Innovation

New technology where it earns its place — scanning, monitoring, automation — not where it only looks modern.

  4. 04

    Sustainability

Longer asset life, lower consumption, and materials chosen to last rather than to be replaced.

  5. 05

    Accountability

One owner, one status, one number to call. Whoever picks up the brief carries it through.
